Black Porcelain and 18k Gold Necklace- Perseus

Regular price $40.00

This delicate necklace is handmade in White Rock, BC steps from the Pacific Ocean.

Each necklace is lovingly handcrafted out of a black stoneware and painted with 18k Gold lustre.

The pendant is sturdy, yet porous, so you are able to use a drop or two of your favourite essentials oils on the back, and the heat from the pendant touching you skin will naturally warm the oil and create a gentle fragrance.

The chain is made from gold fill, which is the highest quality of material beneath 14K gold. The chain & hardware are NOT plated, so the colour will never fade.

To ensure the longevity of your necklace please remove before swimming or taking showers.

"On the way back to Seriphos, Perseus stopped in the kingdom of Aethiopia. This mythical Ethiopia was ruled by King Cepheus and Queen Cassiopeia. Cassiopeia, having boasted that her daughter Andromeda was equal in beauty to the Nereids, drew the vengeance of Poseidon, who sent an inundation on the land and a sea serpent, Cetus, which destroyed man and beast. The oracle of Ammon announced that no relief would be found until the king exposed his daughter Andromeda to the monster, and so she was fastened naked to a rock on the shore. Perseus slew the monster and, setting her free, claimed her in marriage." -Wikipedia
